The Vario Prox Proximity Reader is an advanced technology radio frequency identification device (RFID) specifically designed to enhance the functionality of security, building automation and access control by providing multiple format compatibility, high speed data transmission and sabotage protection.
Integrated multiple reading technology reduces replacement costs and allows easy migration. When used with the PRX-SAM Interface, the Nano Prox operates stand alone with 128 users. Free Proximity Reader Management Software available.

- Programmable Wiegand data formats from 26 to 128 bit with card configured output
- Keep alive transmission every 30 seconds for intelligent tamper management
- Wall plate mounting (electrical flush box spaced mounting holes)
- Reads all popular 125KHz cards, Position Technology, HID, Paradox and ICT cards
- Fully encapsulated design for outdoor and indoor operation
- Beeper activation does not prevent card read operation
- In single LED operation spare input can be used as a command button for wiegand control messages (REX, REN, Arm Button)
