Stardot and Theia flies high with NASA

StarDot 5 megapixel SC Netcam  Camerea and Theia's SY125M lens  was selected for use in NASA's GloPac science mission.  The mission will gather atmospheric and weather conditions in a series of 30+ hour profiling flights that will span the tropical pacific to the north polar region.  Theia's lens is mounted on a modified StarDot 5 megapixel SC NetCam camera and installed on a Global Hawk drone.   According to NASA sources, the SY125M lens, which captured this image of the Sierra Nevada mountain range at 60,000 feet on the Global Hawk's maiden science flight April 2nd, worked flawlessly.  NASA is expected to announce a live feed of the missions in the near future.  Stay tuned for further updates.  For more information on the GloPac program,
