Since 1966 PADDE (formally a division of Tyco Building Products) have been supplying superior products to the access control industry.

The mainstay of the early business was the sole distribution rights to the PADDE electric strikes which are manufactured by an Australian company ASSA ABLOY Australia PTY Ltd.

In September 2000 TRIMEC TECHNOLOGY a member of the ASSA ABLOY locking group of companies, acquired their sole Australian distributor PADDE Door Locking Systems. Since then PADDE has continued on as a BRAND owned by TRIMEC. Behind this iconic electro-mechanical brand name "PADDE" are the founders and inventors of the ES2000 electric strike and many other quality electric locking products - TRIMEC TECHNOLOGY.
